v1.0.3 — Boss mode, Arena rewards by mail and a harder road
Greetings, travellers! Version 1.0.3 turns every map's final fight into a real boss battle, pays the Arena every single day, and makes the road ahead a proper challenge.
Boss mode
The boss at the end of every map now fights on stacked health bars, shown across the top of the board. Empty one bar and the next one takes its place, until the ×1 runs out.

- 1-10: ×1
- 2-10: ×3
- 3-10: ×5
- 4-10: ×7
- 5-10: ×9
Bosses and mini bosses now also glow red like every other enemy, so you can always tell them apart from your own heroes.
Daily Arena rewards, by mail
Your Arena tier now pays out every day. Just after the daily reset, a reward for the tier you hold lands in your Mailbox:
- Bronze: 10 gems, 2,000 gold
- Silver: 20 gems, 3,000 gold
- Gold: 30 gems, 5,000 gold
- Platinum: 45 gems, 7,000 gold, 1 summon coupon
- Diamond: 60 gems, 10,000 gold, 1 summon coupon

The Arena screen now also shows your daily reward and how many rating points you need for the next tier. Win duels to climb, and set up a strong Arena Defence in the Team screen: it's the team that holds your rank while you're away.
A new manual: Sage's Tome
A Sage's Tome is worth 6,000 XP when fed to a hero. It has a chance to drop from stage 5 and stage 10 of every map, on every clear, including replays. Stages you've already beaten are worth going back to.
Stronger monsters, bigger goals
The road past the first map now pushes back:
- Monsters on map 2 are 1.5× stronger, map 3 1.8×, and maps 4 and 5 2×.
- Levelling now costs more gold, and more for rarer heroes. Taking a 5★ hero all the way to level 60 is a real goal to save for, while 1★ and 2★ heroes stay cheap to raise.
Your gold finally has somewhere to go. Build your squad, level your best heroes and take on the bosses!
Fixes
- The summon screen's dark backdrop now covers the whole screen on wider phones.
- A summon card no longer shows its hero mirrored before you turn it over.
Thanks for playing Wayrest. See you on the old road!
